Thank you for choosing Hand Forged Jewellery. We are delighted to offer you our handcrafted jewellery and want to ensure a smooth and transparent shipping experience.
1. General Information

All orders are processed and shipped from my workshop in the United Kingdom.

Orders are typically processed the same day of being placed and will be shipped if placed by 12 o’clock

All our jewellery is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely and securely.
2. Shipping within the UK
We offer the following shipping options for all UK addresses:

Free Standard Delivery: (Tracked 48 with Signature)

We offer free Standard Delivery on all UK orders. The free shipping option will be automatically applied at checkout

Delivery Aim: 2 business days from the date of dispatch.

Tracking: A signature is required upon delivery. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped, allowing you to track its journey.

Express Delivery (Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm)

Cost: £9.50

Delivery Aim: Guaranteed by 1 pm the next business day after dispatch.

Tracking: Fully tracked service with a signature required upon delivery.

Note: To guarantee next-day delivery, please place your order before 12 o’clock on a business day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the following business day. (see at the bottom of this page for restrictions to this service)
3. Shipping to the EU

We currently ship to the EU using an International Tracked & Signed service from either: Royal Mail, DPD, UPS or DHL depending on which one offers the best service for the destination.

Please note that all imports into the EU are subject to VAT. A disbursement fee will also be applicable depending on the carrier.

Here is an example of what UPS would want to collect before delivery on a £100 item.
”Estimated taxes and duties of £22.24 to be paid by the Receiver. In addition, a courier-specific handling fee may apply.”
4. Shipping to the rest of the world

There is a flat fee of £20 to ship to selected countries. using an International Tracked & Signed service from either: Royal Mail,Fed-Ex, UPS or DHL depending on which one offers the best service for the destination.

Please note, you (the buyer) are responsible for paying import duties and any applicable taxes , including clearance fees and local taxes, once the shipment has arrived at the specified destination
5. Shipping to the U.S. – Important Information
We’re happy to offer international shipping, including to the United States. Please note that U.S. customs regulations may apply import duties, taxes, and tariffs on shipments. Some of these are linked to trade policies introduced under the Trump administration, which placed additional tariffs on certain goods imported from overseas.
What this means for you:

Your order may be subject to extra customs fees on arrival in the U.S.

These charges are set by U.S. Customs and are the responsibility of the buyer.

We cannot predict or control the exact amount, as it varies depending on the product type and shipment value.
We always do our best to ensure smooth delivery and provide all necessary paperwork to make the process as hassle-free as possible.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number.

You can track the status of your order by visiting the relevant website and entering your tracking number.
6. Important Notes

Business Days: Our business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

Shipping Delays: While we strive to meet the stated delivery aims, please be aware that delivery times are estimates and may be subject to delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as postal service disruptions or extreme weather.

Incorrect Address: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.

Lost or Damaged Parcels: In the unlikely event that your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately at handforgedjewellery@gmail.com. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
